Well, yes you read the title of the post right- I did try out the skin care regime followed by Kalki for over a month. Her skin care regime is all about the new launch by Oriflame which is Optimals Hydra Range.
I attended the launch event and had detailed the highlights in a post, which you can check here.
This range is rich in Swedish ingredients like Cloudberry and Blueberry. Cloudberry is a subarctic wild berry and is renowned for its high levels of skin loving nutrients. It is rich in Vitamin C, which helps to boost skin radiance and protect against free radical damage. Blueberry is super charged with anti-oxidants which helps protect skin against damage. It is also packed with sugars which help hydrate the skin.
I have used the range for over a month now, and here is what I feel. Firstly, let me take you through the products in the entire range. The range is divided into four stages:
- Cleanse– This stage includes Optimals Hydra Cleanser and Toner. The cleanser and toner is suitable for all skin types. My cleanser is very gentle on the skin, and doesn’t dry out my skin, which is a good thing. It is a very good cleanser specially for morning time as it awakens and freshens up my face.
- Eyes– This stage includes the Optimals Hydra eye cream. The eye cream comes in a small glass pot, which definitely looks very cute, as you can see, and is very thick in consistency. Now, our eyes definitely needs some T.L.C, and applying an eye cream can definitely help in reducing the puffiness, and darkness around the eyes. It gets absorbed very quickly and forms a very base for concealers and I recommend you guys trying out this cream.
- Boost- This stage includes the Optimals Hydra Serum, which is ultra-light and feels cooling in the skin. It does intensely hydrates and enhances radiance and helps protect against free radical damage. This is suitable for all skin types.
- Moisturize- This step has two creams- Hydra Day Cream and Night Cream. This step is a must post cleansing toning, and boosting. Both the cremes are gel based formulae and provides nourishment to the skin. I love how they feel on my skin in both day and night time. They are not sticky, and provides hydration. I do skip the night creams out of laziness sometimes, but whenever I apply it, I do see a difference the next morning. I love how my skin feels with the complete usage of the entire range.
Cleanser- INR 549 for 150 ml
Toner- INR 549 for 200 ml
Eye Cream- INR 629 for 15 ml
Day & Night Cream -INR 749 for 50 ml each
Serum- INR 1049 for 30 ml.
Well, that was my little experience of using the entire skin care regime followed by Kalki, and yes I am vouching for it.
Hope this post was useful, and you guys liked it, do let me know in the comments section below, if you guys give this range a try,
