5 THINGS TO BUY FROM DUTY FREE FOR INDIANS

IMG_5730.jpg

What’s the best thing about travelling abroad ? For an oniomaniac like me, it has to be shopping!

I love shopping makeup, and expensive accessories, and Duty-Free Shopping is just yet another platform that gives access to some amazing things that you usually don’t get or either get at a higher price outside. So, these are some of my favorite items that I would like to pick up from any Duty Free!

Premium and High End Bags

Definitely, a point of attraction for me. I really love hand bags, and Duty free does gives an amazing opportunity to add on some Gucci’s, PRADA’s or Loius Vitton’s to my collection.

High- End /Luxury Makeup

For a makeup lover like me, the duty free beauty brands/ counters are definitely an amazing way to pass my time or to just look around at the airport. On my recent trip to Sydney, I had a long 7 hour halt at Singapore Changi Airport, and now you know where did I spend most of my time 😊

Chocolates

Its a tradition at my work place to get chocolates, whenever someone is returning from abroad, and honestly I love it. So, I don’t mind those extra calories with twix’s, Lyndts and Toblerones.  What about you ?

Liquor

Now, I don’t drink however, I have heard from a lot of people telling that Liquor is way more cheaper at Duty Free. So, incase you are visiting any Duty Free, then you might want to pick up a bottle or two.

  1. Really nice to know about all these products. Srish now i believe the duty free shop is no longer a duty free shop. They also started charging 10% tax. So if are goin again you should be aware of their taxes.

  2. Makeup especially brands that are now available in India is not that cheaper unless some offer is going. As my husband points out, it is best to buy items that attract hefty tax in India, which is often alchohol and perfume.
