I love quirky nail paint shades, but I often do not end up buying a lot of those as I always believe picking up a nail paint which is costly and that too a color which is not very common makes no sense. As at the end, the nail paint bottles go drying and the ultimate use that we get is maximum for 4-5 uses which is not justified for a price that we usually pay for a huge bottle of nail paint.
Elle 18 had launched these Nail pops sometime back in February and hence these are relatively new in the market. I wouldn’t call this a complete new launch as Elle 18 had nail paints before as well in round shaped bottles. I am not really sure if they changed the formulation or not for these nail pops.
I think these Nail Pops come in 50 different shades and retail for INR 50 for each pop.
I have got 6 of these shades with me- Shade 70, 39, 31, 111, 41 & 05.
Shade #70 – It is a neon Orange Color, has a glossy finish
Shade #39– Its a pearl white shade, with a glossy finish
Shade # 31– Its deep red (Maroon) shade with tiny glitter particles in it. It a glossy cum shiny nail lacquer
Shade #111– its a bright yellow shade with a glossy finish.
Shade # 41– Its a bright blood red shade with a glossy finish
Shade # 05– Its a copper shade very similar to Shade 31 in finish which is glossy cum shiny.
WHAT I LIKE ABOUT ELLE 18 NAIL POPS
- Quirky Shades
- Affordable at just INR 50
- Easily available
- Travel Friendly Bottles
- Cute Packaging with a nice thin applicator
- 36 months Shelf Life
- Stays on for good 4-5 days
- Easy to Remove, leaves no stain on the nails
WHAT I DON’T LIKE ABOUT ELLE 18 NAIL POPS
- The shades have numbers and not names
- A few shades applies a little streaky in one coat. However, looks opaque with 2 coats, so not really a con for me.
