#Preserveyouthfulskin with Himalaya

So, when do we realize that we are getting old? Well, by heart no one consider himself old, but our skin does show signs of ageing. I have crossed 25 years of age, and I think it’s the right time to get into a skincare regime which has anti-ageing properties and we all know the phrase “Better late than never“!

Recently, I attended a launch event at Sheraton Hotel, Delhi. I was introduced to an anti-ageing skin care range by Himalaya Herbals which is called the Youth Eternity Range .

Himalaya Youth Eternity Range Launch in Sheraton Hotel, New Delhi

The youth eternity range consists of a Day Cream, A Night cream and an Eye cream.

L-R : Day Cream, Night Cream, Under Eye Cream

The major ingredient in this range is Edelweiss Plant Stem Cells, powerpacked with antioxidants, Woodfordia, Rose Myrtle and Cipadessa which regulatethe youth genes and work with our innate skin cell matrix, responsible for the anti-ageing mechanism of our skin. The products are formulated with botanical extracts that are said to reduce fine lines, wrinkles and replumps the skin. And who doesn’t want that?

I have been trying out this range for two weeks, and my experience has been good so far.

My morning skin care routine starts with cleansing, toning and then moisturizing my face with the Himalaya Youth Eternity Day Cream. It is a non-greasy formula, and makes the skin very soft and supple. I haven’t noticed any adverse reaction such as breakouts post application. It has a very mild fragrance, which goes off within few minutes of application. It doesn’t feel overpowering for my oily skin, which is a good sign. It also has SPF 15, which is another plus point. It does moisturize my face giving it a subtle glow, and is absolutely perfect base for slapping on my everyday makeup.

I also try and apply the Himalaya Youth Eternity Under Eye cream from the same range; but most of the times I forget to apply it :P. But, whenever I do remind myself of using it, it just makes my under eye area very hydrating, and does a good job on serving as a base for applying my concealer. I do have dark circles, but since I have not been regular with it, I haven’t really noticed any difference in reduction of dark circles. I can vouch for it though, because the formula is very hydrating, and it does feel very soothing in the under eye area. Undereye area is the most important part of your face which requires nourishment as well, therefore, using an eye cream definitely helps. This eye cream is said to reduce puffiness, fine lines, pigmentation and wrinkles.

Next product from the range is the Himalaya Youth Eternity Night Cream, which is probably my favorite out of the entire range. To be very honest, I never believed in having a separate night cream in my skin care regime, as I was always moisturizing my face before going to the bed with my day cream itself. However, this product here has changed my thoughts completely. A night cream is very essential and is different from your day cream. The night cream is not supposed to have any sun protection but is supposed to be more richer than your day cream, in terms of texture, as it is the food for your skin overnight. It is the last product, that our skin intakes while we are enjoying our beauty sleep, so it‘s got to be nothing but the best! This night cream from Himalaya is slightly thicker in texture compared to the day cream, and is absolutely perfect for these winter months. Though, it is thick in texture, it‘s not greasy which is a YAY! It is supposed to provide intense hydration , reduce fine lines and make the skin even toned, and visibly youthful.

Overall, I am quite impressed with the range, and I can definitely recommend it, as it does work what it claims. The best part of the range is that it is very easy on the pocket. Usually, the anti ageing ranges offered by brands cost you bomb, but Himalaya sticking to its policy has kept the pricing of the anti ageing range very affordable as well. Ofcourse, the long term claims are yet to be witnessed by me, and that will take some time, but I definitely see myself using these products, and sticking to them for a while.

  1. Himalaya herbals is such an affordable company.. Thank you for such a great review. I have a question though from what age can we start using this? . I recently started my blog about self love and skincare and lifestyle . I did a himalaya herbal’s review on my blog as well and though my review is not as good as yours it would mean the world to me if you would just look at my blog thankyou for reading my comment ❤

    1. I have used it for a while; as mentioned in my post…and I quite like it, though I am yet to witness the long term claims… which includes reduction of dark circles. It also promises to reduce fine lines, which I don’t have, but using this cream ensures their deferment as claimed the brand! Hope this answers your question! Hit me up with more questions, if you have any!
