Review: Blue Heaven Xpression Waterproof Pancake Foundation

Hola Srishfam!

So, I know I have not been able to keep regular with my posts these days, but it’s because I have been occupied with something very major in my life, and hence this delay!

Well today, I am going to keep it short, and I have been trying out this affordable Blue Heaven Pan Cake, which I wanted to share with you all!

Well, I am not sure, if you guys know what a pan cake is, it’s a solid form of foundation, which works on your skin or show color on your skin, only if it’s applied with a wet applicator.

Packaging, Price, Quantity

This product has a very ok packaging according to me, it comes with a applicator of its own however its very harsh on the skin, thus I would not recommend you guys using it with the applicator it comes it. It has a solid plastic separation between the product and sponge which is good. The packaging material is plastic, and it’s quite decent I would say as far its price is concerned. It retails for INR 95 for 16 gms of product.

My take

Formulae wise it’s a great product. I use this product with my wet beauty blendor and it’s a little difficult to apply the product as I have to swipe the sponge applicator quite sometimes to actually get the product on to the blendor and hence on to the skin. It does not hide all my blemishes, but its fine for everyday coverage. Also, I feel a pan cake is not very travel friendly, as it does not transfer to the beauty blendor if it’s not wet, and hence it’s difficult to touch up your makeup look. I do have to moisturize my face really well, to allow the foundation sit well on my skin and also I feel I do feel that it’s a not a product for dry skin at all, but may work for people with oily skin. It will not hide any pores, so I would recommend prepping up your skin before using this pan cake. It stays on my face for about 3-4 hours and is waterproof. Overall, I feel that at an affordable price of INR 95, this is a decent product but it does come with cons as well.
